  • National and provincial executive and legislative competencies
  • Intergovernmental relations
  • Local government
  • Financial and fiscal relations

Theme Committee 3 in numbers:

Theme Committee 3 held 50 meetings between 19 September 1994 and 28 August 1995 and processed 471 submissions from political parties, government departments, organisations and individuals. Eight orientation workshops were held for Theme Committee members. A public hearing on local government was held on 14 August 1995.
